Life off the Lead

All users must agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to use.

These Terms and Conditions permit the Client to use the Life off the lead exercise field for exercising dogs under close personal supervision at all times.

The booking is personal to the Client and may not be transfer or sub-let to any other person, without prior consent from Life off the Lead.

When you arrive at the site, the field is to be found to the top left of the car park as you drive in. Please make sure you park in the spaces near the gate.

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment.

If you arrive and see somebody using the field and parked in the designated spaces, please park away from the gate and stay with your dogs in the car until they have left. This is of the UTMOST importance as the previous client’s dogs may need space from either you or your dogs.

If the previous client stays past your start time and do not appear to be leaving, please call me on 07849488485.

Access to the field is through the pedestrian gate. Please make sure you keep your dogs on the lead at all time until they are in the field.

The field is surrounded by a 6-foot-high fence with deer wire and wooden base boards and privacy netting in some areas, however, if your dog(s) can jump high fences or is/are likely to dig themselves out, then the field may not be totally secure for you.

If you arrive late, you must still leave at the end of your session. Please contact me if this happens, and I will let you know if I can extend your appointment.

Anyone using the field for training or walking other people’s dogs need to have their own Insurance in place to cover clients and dogs. They also need to inform us that this is the purpose for their hiring of the field.

We take no responsibility for accidents or injuries occurring to dogs or people invited there by the original hirer.

RULES OF THE FIELD:

The client has exclusive use of the field. There is a maximum limit of 4 people and 8 dogs allowed to use Life off the lead at any one time (unless agreed with the team in advance), however this may change due to Covid restrictions and government guidelines must be followed.

All dog poo must be picked up using the poo bags provided or your own and then either taken home with you or placed in the black dog poo bin with the lid secured. Repeat offenders who do not do this will be banned from the field.

Do not climb on any gates, fences posts or dog enrichment at any time and any children under the care or control of the client are to be supervised at all times. Life off the lead will not be held liable for any injuries they may incur if anyone does so.

You have use of the new shed which has a seating area. You will also find first aid kits for both dogs and humans in here along with the addresses and number of the two closest vets. Please keep it tidy.

There is fresh water from the tap and water bowls are available, you will also find a watering can next to the hose pipe to wash away any loose or runny poo.

Please do not allow your dogs to dig anywhere on site and if any holes are dug, please fill in the holes with the woodchip kept in the bucket by the main gate.

If your dog causes significant damage, please let one of the team know so we can fix it. This is of the utmost importance as holes in the field can cause injury to other dogs or people.

Put all rubbish (not poo bags) in the bin in the Shed at the top of the field.

The ground is uneven in places and caution must be taken and you are advised to wear sensible and appropriate footwear to suit the grounds and conditions.

The boundary and security of the field is regularly checked. However please call Life off the lead on 07849488485 to report any holes or damage.

Dogs should not be left unattended in the field at any time.

The field is used at the client’s own risk and Life off the lead accept no liability for or any loss, injury or accident that occurs to the client, their dogs or their equipment, or for any veterinary bills that arise from using the field.

Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking time will not be refunded. Please contact life off the lead for cancellations made 24 hours in advance to request a refund.

Clients may re-schedule their appointment via the online booking system with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

Life off the lead holds valid public liability insurance for the field.

If your dogs are showing any signs of ill health (diarrhoea, vomiting, kennel cough, general lethargy etc) you must not attend the field and you must re-schedule the appointment.

Only dogs known to each other are permitted to use the field, Life off the lead does not allow dogs that are ‘strangers’ to each other to use the field at the same time unless organised by Life off the lead or a relevant trainer and Life off the lead shall not be held liable for any dog fights or injuries that occur within the field.

In keeping with the law regarding 'responsible dog ownership', you are entirely responsible for yours and your dogs' safety whilst at Life off the lead.

Life off the lead is not responsible and will not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury or death howsoever and by whomsoever caused, whether to property or person(s) sustained by any person in the Life off the lead field.

Life off the Lead have absolute discretion to permit or prohibit all types of activity on the land.
